EBN Cincinnati/Dayton

EBN-Cincinnati/Dayton was established in the Fall of 2015. As one of its first and signature events, the group instituted EBN Connects to connect students, prospective students and their parents to alumni that are Ebony Bobcats. Over the years, the alumni group has supported Ebony Bobcats by hosting alumni networking and fun meet-up events, hosting events at Ebony Bobcat-owned businesses and utilizing Ebony Bobcat caterers and musicians. Also, EBN-Cincinnati/Dayton Alumni has highlighted Ebony Bobcat authors via presentations and webinars.

In support of Ohio University and its students, members have pledged, donated, and campaigned for contributions to the Ebony Bobcat Network Urban Scholarship Endowment to benefit underrepresented students. Additionally, members have volunteered at local college-preparatory workshops, mailed postcards to, and called prospective students, assisted with prospective student visits to Ohio University, as well as volunteered with local non-profit organizations focused on young people and families.

We meet virtually the first Thursday of each month at 8:00P.M. EST, so even if you do not live in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, you are welcome to join us!
